Description Hoeryongpo in Yecheon is a winding watercourse that is most typical of the countless incised meanders formed in the upstream part of Naeseongcheon Stream and the Nakdonggang River.

The clear water and white sand, the steep mountain slopes that surround them, and the fields and rural village harmonize to create a spot of scenic beauty.

It is also important for academic purposes, for the study of eroded and sedimentary topography features such as the river terrace, the point bar, and flood plains.

Biryongsan Mountain, which surrounds the river, has several well-preserved cultural treasures such as Jangansa Temple from Silla which serve to enhance the beauty of the place.
