Description Hoeryongpo in Yecheon is a meandering stream that is highly typical of the countless incised meanders formed in the upstream part of Naeseongcheon Stream and Nakdonggang River.

The clear water and white sand, steep mountain slopes that surround them, and fields and rural village harmonize to create a place of scenic beauty.

It is also important for academic purposes particularly for the study of eroded and sedimentary topography features such as river terrace, point bar, and flood plains.

Biryongsan Mountain, which surrounds the river, has several well-preserved cultural treasures such as Jangansa Temple from Silla, further enhancing the beauty of the place.
