Relics discovered in the coffin of Chae Mu-yeok’s wife, identified as Kim, when the tombs of Chae and his wife were removed from Mt.
Seokbyeong in Cheongwon-gun in spring of 1977.
It is believed that Kim wore these trousers at ordinary times.
People wore these trousers under cheollik, a kind of official uniform during the Joseon Dynasty.
Given that the trousers are lined and quilted, it is believed that they were for winter.
