Description
The culturally valuable shrouds were founded while removing Gwangju Yi's family graveyard placed in Gwacheon-myeon, Gyeonggi-do, because of the selection of a theme park site in April 1979.
The owner of these clothes is Yi Eonung from Gwangju Yi's family and Ms.
Han from Cheongju Han's family, a wife of Yi Iljib.
They are father-in-law and daughter-in-law.
It is not sure when Yi Eonung was born and died but he seems to be a person from the era of King Jungjong to Seonjo estimated by his son and grandson's age.
Excavated relics are a Pododongjamundanjikgeumdaeranchima (a kind of skirt), two pieces of Sojeo jeoksam (a Korean-style unlined summer jacket), a Cheongsemyeonnabuijingnyeonggyebaekjueumpo, four Gyeobyu jeogori (a Korean style jacket), two Gyeobyujingnyeongpo, a Cheongmyeonjueumpo, a Gyeobyujeokgeon, a pair of Mok lined socks, a Aksu, two Myeongmok, a Seumni, a neol bedclothes.
The shape of Daeranchima skirt, Gyeobyujingnyeongpo and Jingnyeonggyeopjueumpo is very unique.
Especially the patterns of Pododongjamun are embroidered with the gold thread; it is very rare compared to other patters of typical Daeranchima skirt.
The reason that this kind of splendid royal dress was introduced to the common people is MS.
Han was a granddaughter of a princess who became Queen Munjeong, King Jungjong's Gyebi.
In addition, Jingnyeonggyeopjueumpo is also unique style of clothes making folds under the waist finely and delicately.
It is a padded Jingnyeongpo that has a beautiful blue color even though its color was faded a little.
And the shape of four pieces of Gyebyujeogori and Aksu is also particular.
The length of these Jeogori is 80 cm and 75 cm each, and their side Teuim is 34 cm and 27 cm.
It tells that the shape of Danbaeja affected by Ming had been changed to the style of Yangban (a nobleman).
